North-West MRT Line 西北地铁线 - 12到20年后的可能

今天 2012.02.28 是 2012 新加坡财政预算案 Singapore Budget 国会九天辩论的第1天,关切民生的预算其中之一较为显著的是11亿新元购买和运作巴士。依照 650万总人口的规划,本人虽非从事这行业也非学术专业,在此想建议一下 (其实已在其他博客的博文本人曾稍微披露) 一条辅助现时地铁线 (南北线,东西线和环线) 的新地铁线 - 西北地铁线 North-West MRT Line,并非连接 Jurong East Interchange, 反而是绕过了它。

North-West Line [From Tengah to Marina South]: Tengah [Proposed New Town] .. Choa Chu Kang .. Bukit Batok West (near Millennia Institute) .. Jurong East (near Swimming Complex) .. Lake Side  .. Jurong Lake (near former Tang Dynasty) .. Teban Gardens / Pandan Reservoir .. West Coast (near Clementi Woods) .. Haw Par Villa (Circle Line) .. South Buona Vista (near Kent Ridge Park) .. Portsdown Road (near AYE) (near future Mediapolis) .. Jln Bukit Merah (near Hoy Fatt Road) .. Henderson Road (near Telok Blangah Hill Park) .. Lower Delta Road (near Bukit Purmei Hillock Park) .. Blair Rd (Kampong Bahru Rd) .. Tanjong Pagar KTM Station Area (near Spottiswoode Park, plus 1 or 2 Tanjong Pagar Waterfront after Port Terminals move to Tuas), Prince Edward Road, Marina Bay South Few More Stations.  There could be viable possibility to extend from Tengah to Woodlands and subsequently Punggol and Pasir Ris.

当然建造和经营一条地铁线耗费甚巨,不过几个月下来现时地铁线频频凸槌和服务水准差强人意,可能有部分可信的原因是列车出勤率增加,导致轨道不胜负荷。西北地铁线固然有点异想天开,在一定程度上舒缓东西线,南北线和环线日益增加的搭客量,连接未来 Tanjong Pagar 濒海地段 和 Mediapolis, 不失为有关当局诸公的新的考虑点。这地铁线应该比未来的北岸线(或可伸延至北岸线)来的更迫切些。

日后如果接近相类似的地铁线落成的话,可否有关当局颁发一个“先见之明奖”给我呢?
